Powertrain
A forklift has to be tough enough to last for many hours of heavy use in extreme settings. These equipment need to be able to move loads efficiently and fast while still being ergonomic to the operator. The rugged, reliable Yale powertrain offers excellent durability through its state of the art clutch packs, computer controlled transmission and engine and really robust gears and shafts. The transmission, engine, drive axle and steer axle are all isolated so as to reduce vibration and noise inside the operator's compartment.

Electrical
The lift truck's electrical system is responsible for linking the major nerve centers of the truck together. Hence, the electrical system in the lift truck must be dependable and durable for the most demanding dry/wet and hot/cold operations. There is much sophistication required to be able to control truck functionality.

Yale trucks are recognized for delivering reliable electronics. The Yale CANbus electrical system utilizes digital technology and lessens electrical connections and reduces wiring as well. This results in improved reliability and remarkable serviceability.

Hydraulics
The hydraulics are the forklift's "muscles". They provide the necessary force needed to raise heavy loads during the entirety of a long shift. All Yale trucks feature industrial grade hydraulic components. Several of these components include: leak resistant O-ring face seal fittings, heavy-duty hydraulic valves, long lasting hoist and tilt cylinders, and fine micron filters. The control valve has been strategically positioned to be able to prolong part life by minimizing exposure to heat sources.
